1. Create an Animoto video describing the mood of the video
2. Create a wordle
3. Create a Voki character

Groups: Students may select who they will work with. Each group will be composed of 3-4 members. Each group will need to select a leader, who will organize the group; a record, who will save work and collect work from members; a publisher, who will ensure work is published on the wiki, and a manager, who will keep group members on task. Each group will need to list the members and their job title along with the three parts of the project.
Directions: Students will create a 30 second video on describing the mood of the novel using images and music. Think of this video as a trailer of a movie.
Avatars are a digital representation - an online identity. Most avatar makers are easy to use and allow users to post or embed the images in other webpages. Here is one that you will create: www.voki.com
Directions: Your group must select a character from the novel--Jack, Ralph, Simon, Piggy, etc. After deciding the character, your group must create the character based on the descriptions from the novel. Follow the directions to create a short speech for your charactedr describing the events that the character had to endure while on the island.
